我愛上了我的車 溫佳寧個展 蕭如松藝術園區
展覽論述
有一日，由於朋友們忙於工作，我參加了一場孤單的寫生活動，這讓平常只專注於畫人/女人的我進入了一種奇妙的體驗，在炎熱的風中，行路的腳步，挑選一個地方，專注於一個比場景、情境、螢幕、畫面更大的現場。這讓我想起了我的車窗，在快速移動下的專注力，將歷時與共時同步收納在畫面中。「我愛上了我的車......現在他們只是四輪朋友/當我高速行駛時/不做任何普通的談話」，如果攝影能提供改變事情的唯一方法——慢慢審視一切，我想繪畫能將感官聚集，將目光望向熱辣起來的皮膚。
Essay
One day, as my friends were all busy with work, I found myself taking part in a solitary plein air drawing session. Usually focused on drawing people—women, in particular—I entered a strange and unfamiliar state. In the sweltering wind, walking and choosing a spot, I found myself immersed in a presence larger than any scene, setting, screen, or frame.
It reminded me of looking out my car window—that particular concentration that emerges while moving at high speed, where duration and simultaneity are folded into the same image. “I fell in love with my car... now they’re just four-wheeled friends / when I drive fast / I don’t engage in any ordinary conversations.” If photography offers the only way to change things—by slowly examining everything—then I believe drawing can gather the senses and turn our gaze toward the skin, warming under the heat.
